Designer
As a freelance graphic designer, Trent started by creating MySpace pages for friends and family (it was a different time). Over the past decade, he has worked on visuals for numerous theatre producers and performers, sporting teams, disability organisations and First Nations businesses.
Operating as The Digital Caretaker, Trent designs posters, programs, flyers, logos, websites, and other assets, for both digital and print.
Originally self-taught, Trent has since undertaken studies at Torrens University Australia, in association with Billy Blue College of Design.

Educator
Trent is a qualified secondary teacher and has taught throughout South East, remote and regional Queensland. Over the years he has taught numerous senior subjects including Literature, English, Modern History, Legal Studies, and Business. He holds a double major in Studies of Religion and Philosophy, and a post-graduate degree in Education.
Trent left the classroom in 2021, making the career switch into an instructional design role in the private sector.
In 2022, Trent hosted a two-part series, the Our Yakka Podcast, which presented conversations with millennials about the changing dimensions of their lives, perspectives and the world.

Theatrist
For more than a decade, Trent has produced, directed, performed and reviewed local theatre.
Having trained with the Film and Television Studio International, and the Performing Arts Conservatory, Trent has several leading credits in community and independent productions including Harry Bright (MAMMA MIA!), Seymour Krelborn (LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS), Roger (GREASE), Peter Allen (THE BOY FROM OZ), and Scarecrow (THE WIZARD OF OZ).
As a director, Trent has overseen projects including THE ADDAMS FAMILY, PETER PAN, and ANNIE; and has produced independent plays, tributes and workshops in both regional and South East Queensland.
Trent is also a co-founder of Theatre Haus, a digital platform for theatre reviews and recognition in Brisbane and beyond, and occasionally performs in his cover show Another Ed Sheeran Tribute.
