Born and raised in Meanjin/Brisbane, Trent is a descendent of the Wakka Wakka people. While occasionally performing, producing or reviewing live events, Trent is primarily a content developer and freelance graphic designer.

Designer

As a freelance graphic designer, Trent started by creating MySpace pages for friends and family (it was a different time). Over the past decade, he has worked on visuals for numerous theatre producers and performers, sporting teams, disability organisations and First Nations businesses.

Operating as The Digital Caretaker, Trent designs posters, programs, flyers, logos, websites, and other assets, for both digital and print. He also works as an instructional designer, or digital product specialist, developing content and learning materials.

Originally self-taught, Trent has since undertaken studies at Torrens University Australia, in association with Billy Blue College of Design.

He holds a double major in Studies of Religion and Philosophy, and a post-graduate degree in Education.

In his planning and implementation of lessons, Trent placed an emphasis on real-world application and whole-person development. Trent left the teaching profession in 2021.

Theatrist

For more than a decade, Trent has produced, directed, performed and reviewed local theatre.

Having trained with the Film and Television Studio International, and the Performing Arts Conservatory, Trent has several leading credits in community and independent productions including Harry Bright (MAMMA MIA!), Seymour Krelborn (LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS), Roger (GREASE), Peter Allen (THE BOY FROM OZ), and Scarecrow (THE WIZARD OF OZ).

As a director, Trent has overseen projects including THE ADDAMS FAMILY, PETER PAN, and ANNIE; and has produced independent plays, tributes and workshops in both regional and South East Queensland.
